Shree Panch Indra Rajya Lame Devi Prasuti Griha (Maternity Hospital)
is situated at the bank of the Bagmati River & locality it is
known as Thapathali, Kathmandu, Nepal . It was established on 26th
Aug. 1959 with the initiation of Paropakar and HMG in memory of
late HRH Crown Princess Shree Panch Indra Rajya Laxmi Devi Shah.
It is a tertiary central hospital in obstetrics and Gynecology,
with, NICU, Endoscopy, Emergency, Immunization care clinic, Subferlitily,
Manual Vaccum Aspiration , Colposcopy , STD and Family Planning
etc. It has 565 staff working at the moment. The daily out patient
visit number is about 424. Now it has been growing as a medical
research institute.
